ABOUT US
“Hearts On Fire” Youth Ministry is dedicated to glorifying God while equipping young people with the tools needed to put ministry in action as positive influence in our community. Our goal is to instill values in our youths through outreach, mission, community service and evangelism so they will become positive role models for their peers and leave positive footprints in society.
Our Youth Ministry also provides a safe place where youths can freely express personal struggles, questions about God, church and themselves.
We desire to see students rise up and fulfill the call of God that is on their life. We strive to do this by creating opportunities for students to know God through a personal relationship with Christ, follow him by experiencing discipleship & spirit empowered living, and impacting the world around them by teaching others to do the same. Every program we create, event that is held, or resource that is developed, revolve around our mission.
BIBLE QUIZ
For the past ten years students have actively studied the Word of God through our Bible Quiz program. Bible Quiz is an exciting, interactive game format similar to a game show you would see on TV.
The purpose of the Bible Quiz ministry is to:
- Encourage, by systematic study, an in-depth understanding of God’s word among our students.
- Teach students to make daily application of the Word.
- Motivate students to memorize the Bible.
- Cultivate, through competition, a proper attitude toward winning and losing.
- Teach students to reflect the spirit of Christ in attitude and action.
- Provide an opportunity for discipling students.
- Provide, through travel and competition, opportunities to expand Christian fellowship among other students.
There are three levels of quizzing:
- Primary quizzing – ages 5-8
- Junior quizzing – ages 9-12
- Senior quizzing – ages 13-19
YOUTH TALENT EXPO PROGRAM
The Youth Talent Expo (YTE) provides opportunities for our children and teens to discover and develop their talents toward their full potential for Christ.
The purpose of YTE is to:
- To involve PFC youth in developing abilities and talents for the glory of God.
- To motivate young people to utilize their abilities in the ministries of the Church.
- To provide evaluative data on performances which may serve as a guide for development of talents and skills for the glory of God.
- To motivate youth to develop their personal relationship with God.
- To provide opportunities for youth to develop relationships with other youth in the Church.
Through the opportunity presented by the Youth Talent Expo, students discover and develop their God-given talents, and learn how to use them to make an impact in the world in which we live. Through YTE, students will dedicate themselves to endless hours of preparation, writing, sculpting, developing and practice to use their talents for His glory.
The Youth Talent Expo is for students ages 6-19 years old, with ages 6-12 competing in the Kids Talent Expo and ages 13-19 competing in the Teen Talent Expo.

MISSIONS ADVENTURES
It is a proven fact that one of the greatest ways for students to DISCOVER their call, is to go on a missions trip. “Hearts On Fire” Youth Ministry in association with the Pentecostal Church of God Missions Department provide opportunities for students of all ages to go on the mission field, both domestically in the U.S., and on trips all across the globe. Everyday, all around the world, and right here in the United States, people need our help. Can you imagine serving a warm meal to someone who has not eaten in days? Giving a gift to a child who has experienced very little joy in life? Can you imagine sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with someone who has never heard? We want to give you the opportunity to go on an Adventure that allows young people to not only see the world but to change it!
